Digital printer delivers colour impact and variable printing on-demand.
Business is good for Kanani Foods, Las Vegas, Nevada. The wholesaler of sushi, salads and sandwiches has grown from an 800-sq.- ft. facility to a 20,000-sq.-ft. operation and added many retail customers to its foodservice base. Tim Cruz, vice president of Operations for Kanani Foods, credits an L801 colour label printer from Afinia Label (Booth E-8444) Chanhassen, Minnesota, for much of the company’s growth. See their case study here to learn how the L801 has helped them maintain FDA compliance while decreasing labour and increasing savings.

It’s not just about size! Digital label printing is accessible for all!
Since then, we have seen the likes of Nutella®, Marmite®, and Heinz® (to name but a few) follow suit. These are all examples of larger companies utilising digital technology to maximise the connection of their brands with their customers. But what of the smaller, mid size companies, start ups, and one-man bands? What can they do to compete? Well, an awful lot actually, and this is where I believe the overlooked power of digital printing really lies. [Read more…]
